Adding a new template to Killers VoiceCommand

To add a new template to Killers VoiceCommand follow the steps below.

  1. Place the new template in the Program Files\Killers Software\Templates directory of Killers VoiceCommand.

  2. After you have the template in the Templates directory then go into Killers VoiceCommand and select the File\Load Template... menu to go to the Templates Manager dialog.

  3. If you see the new Template in the list then you can select it and click OK in the Template Manager to use the new template in Killers VoiceCommand.
  4. If you do not see the Template in the list then you have to add the new Template to the Template Manager.
  5. To add a new Template select the File\Add... menu in the Templates Manager dialog to add a new template

  6. Enter the name for the new Template in the Template Name text box.
  7. Next, click the Browse... button to select the template file that you saved to the Templates folder.  NOTE: You can select a file that is not in the templates folder and it will automatically copy that file to the Templates folder.
  8. Click the OK button to add the new template to the list of templates in the Templates Manager.
  9. Next, click the OK button in the Templates Manager to use the new template in Killers VoiceCommand.
  10. If you get the following message below when you click OK in the Add Template dialog that means the Template Name already exist in the list of templates but may not be showing in the list of templates in the Template Manager dialog because there is not an associated file.
  11. Follow the steps below to add a new template file to an existing Template Name.

  12. Select View\Not Existing Templates menu in the Templates Manager dialog.
  13. This will show all the Template names that don't have an associated template file.
  14. Select the Template Name (ex: Second Life) from the list and double click that name to bring up the Edit Template dialog.

  15. Now click the Browse... button to browse to the directory where your new template is located. If the directory is not the Templates directory of Killers VoiceCommand it will copy that template file from its current location to the Templates folder of Killers VoiceCommand.
  16. Next click the OK button to update the template with the new file and go back to the Template Manager dialog.
  17. Next, click the OK button in the Templates Manager to use the new template in Killers VoiceCommand.
